ELBEL FIELD IS CURRENTLY IN THE PROCESS OF RECEIVING AN UPGRADE! WE ARE VERY EXCITED FOR OUR NEW PRACTICE FIELD TO BE COMPLETED IN 2024.
ELBEL FIELD
Elbel Field is the artificial turf practice field for the Michigan Marching Band. George Cavender was instrumental in renaming Wines Field to Elbel Field in honor of Louis Elbel, the man who wrote The Victors. Located at the corner of East Madison St. and South Fifth Ave., Elbel offers the MMB a state-of-the-art practice field in a conveniently accessible location. Rehearsals on Elbel Field are open to the public—feel free to take a seat on the bleachers and watch!
